OUR COVID-19 POLICY
We are trying our best to make sure your stay with us is still as welcoming and special as it’s always been, whilst following Government and Industry COVID-19 guidelines. As always our main priority is your safety and happiness.
BOOKINGS
We guarantee that any holiday that is booked directly with us and affected by a travel ban or COVID-19 lockdown will be fully refunded or given the option to rebook in 2021. Refunds on Airbnb bookings are subject to Airbnb policies, we cannot return any administration charges made by Airbnb. However we have changed our Cancellation Policy to Flexible which allows for late cancellation with no penalty from us as hosts. If you are considering booking via Airbnb please check their Terms and Conditions.
IF A GUEST BECOMES ILL
If you feel unwell during or after your stay Government advice is that you go to the nearest COVID-19 testing centre. If your test is positive you must inform us. If this happens during your stay you must leave and return to your local area. We will not be able to refund your holiday if you become ill during your stay
SELF CHECK-IN
(after 3pm if you arrive early we might not have finished cleaning)
We usually love to greet our guests, do a quick tour, and explain a few things about the hut. We are now doing self check-in. When you arrive drive to parking area and unload, the key will be in the door of the hut. We are still on hand if you need us and all of our guest information is available on laminated easy clean guides or if you prefer we can send you these as a PDF. Contact numbers are displayed in the hut please let us know you arrived safely.
SELF CHECK-OUT
(by 11am to allow us to get ready for our next guests)
We really hope you will have enjoyed your stay. To help keep us safe we are asking you for your help by stripping the beds and putting bedlinen, towels and robes into laundry bags provided. Empty the fridge and bins in the hut and kitchen into the main bins and tie the bin bags securely. If the weather is dry leave windows open and leave the key in the door. Inform us by text or phone that you are leaving.

CLEANING (we are blocking out 24hrs between stays for deep cleaning)
Our cleaning standards are always very high but we need to allow extra time for
disinfecting and steam cleaning all soft furnishings and high touch surfaces inside and outside the hut, floors and walls. We are using cleaning products that comply with BS EN1276 Certification and kill 99.999% of germs then a zap with the steamer. There will be cleaning products and hand sanitiser in the hut if you want to be extra careful.
HOT TUB
You will still be able to enjoy a soak in the tub and enjoy the view.
There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be passed through water in hot tubs if they are properly maintained. The tub is always disinfected and filled with fresh water between guests. We will be be paying extra attention to cleaning handles, lids, paddles and the boiler.
WE ARE STILL PROVIDING

We will supply our usual breakfast hamper for the first morning of your stay with single use condiments, tea, coffee and treats. GAMES
Our guests always enjoy having the time to relax and play board games especially on rainy days, so rather than take them out we have raided our own supply and bought a few extras. We now have 3 sets so we are leaving at least a week between guests before they are used again. Currently Covid is only thought to last upto 72 hrs at most on surfaces.

WE ARE TAKING OUT -
SHEEP SKIN THROWS AND CUSHIONS
We are taking out the sheepskin throws and rugs as they aren’t washable and don’t like being steam cleaned...think smelly wet sheep! We are still providing washable outdoor throws for chilly evenings.
WHAT TO BRING
We are taking some non essential items out of the hut so you may want to bring
Torches
Umbrellas
Books
but they will be available on request.
